The 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class adds the flagship CL65 AMG and a CL65 AMG Edition to commemorate the 40th anniversary of AMG. The CL65 AMG is powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 that produces 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque and includes the latest-generation AMG sport suspension based on Active Body Control, a high-performance AMG braking system and forged 20-inch AMG twin-spoke wheels. Finished in exclusive AMG Alubeam (Liquid Metal) paint, only 40 of the 40th Anniversary CL65 will be produced with two-tone Nappa leather seats finished in a diamond pattern, V12 logos embossed in the front head restraints, a color-coordinated Alcantara headliner and carbon fiber interior trim.
